Before you choose a high ticket affiliate marketing course, read my experience and discover some affiliate courses that may be what you’re looking for.

Hey there. My name is Eartha and I am an affiliate marketer. I enjoy affiliate marketing and have recently begun my journey into the world of high-ticket affiliate marketing. Since I do have some experience with traffic generation, I’ve been able to make several high ticket sales (commissions of $500 – $1,000 per sale.)

I want to share with you my affiliate journey thus far, how I’ve been able to make the high ticket commissions I’ve made, as well as some courses I’ve tried and online business coaches I like.

It’s my goal to help anyone interested in affiliate marketing to make a more informed decision. Also, do know that I am an affiliate of some or all of the courses and products recommended in this post. However, I only recommend what has genuinely provided value to me and what I feel will provide value to others.

Starting High Ticket Affiliate Marketing for Beginners

Let’s define what affiliate marketing is:

Affiliate marketing is recommending another company’s products and earning a percentage of each sale that you refer (your affiliate commission.)

Another popular term for affiliate marketing is freelance digital marketing. That’s exactly what affiliate marketing is since you are not an employee of the company you become an affiliate for.

Many beginners to make money online gravitate towards affiliate marketing because there is a low barrier to entry. You don’t have to come up with your own product, there is no eCommerce store to set up, and best of all, you don’t have to handle customer service issues.

I got my start in affiliate marketing with niche websites and recommending low-ticket affiliate offers (usually products with commissions between $23 – $47.)

When I began to learn of high ticket affiliate marketing, it piqued my interest. Earning larger commissions for the same amount of effort seemed like a no-brainer.

Getting started with high ticket affiliate marketing involves the following:

  • Choosing a high ticket affiliate offer
  • Setting up a sales funnel (including your autoresponder)
  • Sending targeted traffic to your funnel

How to Start High Ticket Affiliate Marketing

Choosing High Ticket Affiliate Programs

The first step is to choose a high ticket affiliate program. These can range from physical goods to digital products. For physical products, you’ll need to research affiliate networks or online retailers such as Amazon.

Some affiliate networks to check out include ShareASale, Impact, or AvantLink. You can also brainstorm high-end products and then research to find out if there are high ticket affiliate programs for them.

My Preferred High-Ticket Affiliate Marketing Programs

I like high ticket affiliate programs for digital offers. Digital products such as online courses provide instant gratification for the buyer. They are likely in need of the course they bought and they get to start it right away.

You can search for the various types of digital affiliate marketing programs using social media or YouTube. Simply search for high ticket affiliate marketing on those platforms and click on the profile or video description of the creator. You’ll discover a variety of the highest-ticket affiliate programs.

Some creators will have a direct link to the affiliate offer they are promoting or they may have a landing page (sales funnel) that you can sign up for to get more information.

Make a list of the high-ticket affiliate programs that you find and then begin researching each of those until you find one that resonates with you. I recommend researching the product creators themselves.

For example:

  • Is the product creator active and accessible?
  • Does the product creator offer one-on-one help or group coaching?
  • How is the reputation of the product owner (positive or negative?)

Search for the product creator on YouTube and all social media. Check if the person posts often and if they engage with their audience.

Jonathan Montoya’s Freedom Accelerator Course

If you want a super enthusiastic and trustworthy online business coach, you’ll find it with Jonathan Montoya. Jonathan is a 7-figure high-ticket affiliate marketer and teaches his students how to earn a full-time income online to quit their 9-to-5 jobs.

The Freedom Accelerator course includes his full training program consisting of videos as well as weekly group coaching calls via Zoom. Jonathan is active on all social media platforms. He is a legit online business coach.

Set Up Your Sales Funnel for High-Ticket Affiliate Marketing

Next, you’re going to need a way to introduce the high ticket product you chose to your target audience. One of the best ways to do this is by setting up a sales funnel.

A basic high-ticket affiliate marketing sales funnel consists of 2 pages one being the landing page with a form to collect an email address and a bridge page (or thank you page) that has information about the product you’re recommending.

The landing page is often referred to as the squeeze page or opt-in page because its only job is to collect a visitor’s contact details.

A bridge page is where you warm up your visitors to what the main high-ticket affiliate marketing offer is that you’re promoting. You can post a video of yourself talking about the product and how it has helped you or you can have some pictures and copy to do the same job.

It’s important to have a call-to-action such as a button or link containing your affiliate link to the product you’re recommending.

Manual Set Up of Your Sales Funnel

Thanks to sales funnel software, it is extremely easy to set up your high ticket affiliate marketing sales funnel. Many of the software options have templates that you can choose and customize for your needs.

Sales Funnel Software Options

  • Clickfunnels
  • Systeme.io
  • Leadpages
  • Kajabi
  • Kartra

Out of all the available options, Clickfunnels is the most popular and most used by many high ticket affiliate marketers. Systeme.io is probably a close second. However, Kartra is an excellent option as well. What’s great about most sales funnel software is that the email marketing software is included.

If you have a preference for the email marketing software (autoresponder) that you use, find out if the sales funnel software that you want to use is compatible with it.

For example, I prefer using GetResponse for building an email list. GetResponse is friendly to affiliate marketers. Some email marketing software companies are not favorable to affiliates and you don’t want your account closed because of it.

Automated Set-Up of Your Sales Funnel

If you are technically averse, you can opt for having your entire sales funnel set up for you with a few clicks. A good option for this is Funnel Freedom. This is software that was founded by online business coach, Jonathan Montoya.

Funnel Freedom sets up your high-ticket funnel in a few clicks. You add your details such as your name, your photo, and social media profiles. Then you add in your affiliate links and you’re done.

The software takes care of setting up your landing page and bridge page. It also includes a free course to use as your lead magnet. It’s all pretty slick and perfect for complete beginners.

Sending Targeted Traffic to Your Sales Funnel

Finally, you’ll need a way to send targeted traffic to your sales high-ticket funnel. Without traffic, you won’t make affiliate commissions. There are various traffic sources to use (both free and paid.)

As a beginner, I highly recommend learning how to generate organic traffic. The only investment for this will be your time. Paid ads are often out of reach for beginners and if you do have a budget, it can be expensive.

Some ways to generate a steady flow of traffic organically include:

  • Social media posts (think Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
  • Starting a YouTube channel (great for free traffic)
  • Creating a blog (learn some SEO and the traffic can last for years)

Even with all of the algorithm updates and loss of traffic on my affiliate sites, I still like blog traffic the best. The leads that are generated are targeted and conversions are higher.

You don’t have to be a superior copywriter or have any search engine optimization skills to learn SEO and apply it to your website. A great place to learn these skills is at IMG.courses. I take the courses there and they are pure gold.

Top High Ticket Affiliate Marketing Niches

Some common high ticket affiliate marketing niches include:

  • Insurance
  • Travel
  • Health & Fitness
  • Personal Finance
  • MMO (make money online)

My favorite high-ticket affiliate marketing niche is the MMO niche. There is hardly a person who doesn’t want to make more money for one reason or another.

A lot of people want a convenient way to make that money and working from home online is one of the most convenient there is. That is what makes high-ticket affiliate marketing so great for beginners.

Don’t worry about competition in any niche. There is going to be lots of competition and that is a good thing because that means people are buying within that niche.

How Much Do High Ticket Affiliate Marketers Make?

The earning potential for high ticket affiliate marketing is unlimited. Those who become well-versed in traffic generation and get leads daily often make 6-figures a year.

Keep in mind that this is not the norm and your success with high ticket affiliate marketing is solely dependent on your skills and work ethic. Although making money online is convenient, it doesn’t mean it is easy.

It takes consistent effort to make a steady income online. On the plus side, there are some great high ticket affiliate marketing courses that you can learn from.

On the low-end, a high ticket affiliate marketer can make a few thousand dollars per month. If you can make one high ticket sale, you can make more. It takes consistency so don’t give up!

Zach Crawford’s Millionaire Challenge System

Zach is one of my favorite online business coaches. He is genuine and down-to-earth, and he is always making his course better for his students. I invested in his MCS high-ticket affiliate marketing coaching program and it delivers. I have weekly access to Zach to ask him questions and get guidance.

He is a top 7-figure earner and has over a decade of experience with earning income online with affiliate marketing. Many of his students have reached 6-figures themselves. His motto is that he won’t give up on you as long as you don’t give up on yourself.

Choosing a High Ticket Affiliate Marketing Course

One of the keys to becoming a successful high-ticket affiliate is finding solid training and mentorship. But how do you choose when there are so many course options out there?

When I decided to invest in my first high ticket affiliate course, I made my decision based on several factors. I went with the MCS coaching program and here’s why:

  • I followed the course creator for years on YouTube
  • Communication with the course creator was easy and accessible
  • There were many positive testimonials and student results

MCS isn’t the only course I invested in. I think each business coach has different perspectives and methods for how they operate an online business with affiliate marketing.

I always want to learn from the top affiliate marketers. However, not everyone can invest in multiple coaching programs so deciding on a good one is important.

Always research the course creator. Some courses on the market don’t list the product creator at all. That is a big red flag. Be sure that the course creator is active on most social media platforms.

If they have a Facebook profile or Instagram profile, send a direct message and ask a question. Keep in mind that some course creators hire virtual assistants to engage with their followers.

Even still, if you get an immediate response, it’s still a good sign. It at least shows that the product creator cares about their future and current customers.

Does the Price of a High Ticket Course Matter?

Yes, it does matter. A more expensive high-ticket affiliate marketing course does not equate to an overall better course. There are pros and cons to every course so consider a course that you can afford by a legit course creator.

For example, you will get a lot of bang for your buck with the Freedom Accelerator course by Jonathan Montoya. His course is on the low end of some of the high-ticket affiliate courses that I’ve come across.

Jonathan is as legit as they come and his teaching style is on point. He is one of the most active business coaches I know of posting daily on social media and making weekly YouTube videos.

I do think that the average price point of most high ticket courses is anywhere between $1,500 and $3,000. I’ve made my investment back for the course I invested in but that isn’t often the case for most beginners.

You have to stay consistent with applying what you learn in the course that you choose. If you don’t follow the course or participate in the coaching calls, you’ll likely not make any progress.

Key Features of Good High Ticket Courses

When looking for a high ticket affiliate marketing course, you’ll want to ensure that it includes a training program (usually video training) and group coaching calls.

Whether or not you can make the live coaching calls isn’t a deal breaker. These calls are saved in an archive so that you can watch the replays at your convenience.

For example, I can’t always make the live coaching calls with my business coach but I can post any questions that I have before the call takes place. My coach answers the question and I can watch it on the replay.

In Conclusion

I hope these tips have helped you to make a more informed decision before investing in a high ticket affiliate marketing course. Whichever high-ticket course you decide to go with, go all in with it.

Finish the course and take action with what you’ve learned. Participate in the coaching calls and ask questions. Take advantage of the professional help that you paid for.

More than anything, stay consistent. If you can make one commission, you can make more!

Before you invest in a high ticket affiliate marketing course, be sure that you are going to follow through. These courses are at a certain price point because you’ll be learning the exact methods that the course creator uses in their own business.

Is Buying a High Ticket Affiliate Marketing Course Necessary?

You do not need to buy any marketing course to become successful with your online business. However, you may find it challenging to make progress without one.

It wasn’t until I began taking online courses that I was able to make any significant progress. I look at it as investing in my education.

My online business coach continues to invest in mentoring and courses and he is a 7-figure earner. That goes to show that learning is non-stop.

No matter what you end up choosing to do, I wish you much success in your online business journey!
