How Do I Promote My High Ticket Affiliate Product?
When set up properly, a sales funnel can do most of the work of selling the product you are promoting and converting visitors into sales. A basic high ticket affiliate marketing sales funnel is made up of two pages:
- A landing page (squeeze page)
- Bridge page or thank you page
The diagram below demonstrates how a basic two-page sales funnel works. You can send traffic to your funnel using social media, paid ads, YouTube, or content marketing.

The opt-in page (your landing page) is the first page of your funnel and its job is to collect visitor information such as a first name and email address. It helps to have a lead magnet (a free offer) on your landing page as an incentive for visitors to sign up for your email list.
After your visitors submit their contact details, they are directed to the second page of your funnel which is the bridge page. The bridge page plays an important role in your funnel. This is the page that warms up your subscribers.
It’s on the bridge page where you can let your subscribers know about the product you’re promoting. You can share your experience with the product using a video or writing copy on the page that explains
Your bridge page should also have a call-to-action in the form of a button or text link. Your call-to-action will be your affiliate link to the sales page of the product you’re promoting.
Some of your subscribers may buy right away while others may take time.
Promoting High Ticket Affiliate Products Using an Email List
An email list will be the heart and soul of your high ticket affiliate marketing online business. No matter what goes on with Google algorithm updates, social media algorithms, and so on, you will be able to rely on your email list to make money online.
All successful internet marketers (even large online retailers) have an email list (or two.) Building a list of subscribers is equivalent to having your own customer base. There is no need to be at the mercy of a search engine or social media platform.
The key is to lead all of the traffic that you generate back to your sales funnel so that you can gain new subscribers and build your email list as large as possible.
There will be unsubscribers on a regular basis but for every unsubscriber you may gain 1 or more new subscribers. Always focus on building your list on a daily basis.
Types of Email Messages to Send
The purpose of your email list is to stay in touch with your subscribers by providing information about the niche you are in, recommending products (using your affiliate links), motivational messages, and more.
Remember that your list is made up of people who read your messages. Therefore, nurture your list and try not to bombard them too much with marketing messages. Some marketers write sales messages every day and it may work for them.
While others nurture their lists by adding no-pitch value emails in between the marketing emails they send. It’s up to you how you want to approach email marketing. If anything, test out different strategies and figure out what works for you.
Autoresponder Messages Versus Broadcast Messages

Before you begin sending traffic to your sales funnel, you’ll want to have your autoresponder messages set up. Autoresponder messages are pre-written emails that are scheduled to be sent out at specific times.
For example, you could have a set of 10 – 20 pre-written emails and schedule them to send every day. Or you could have the messages sent every other day. It’s up to you and once you have them set, your subscribers will go through the sequence and receive the emails as you have them scheduled.
A broadcast email is a type of email that you can send out any time you want. Let’s say you want to write a message to let your subscribers know about an upcoming product launch.
You could type up the message and send it out immediately or schedule it to be sent on a specific day. I like to send out a broadcast message daily or every other day.
Generating Traffic to Send to Your High Ticket Sales Funnel
When it comes to promoting a high ticket affiliate product, you’re going to need traffic. Without traffic, your sales funnel cannot do its job of selling and converting.
Traffic generation is often the stumbling block for many beginner affiliates. There are many ways you can go about getting traffic. There are organic traffic strategies and paid traffic strategies.
I’ll go over some that I have tried and some that I continue to use.
Blog Traffic
This is one of my favorite organic traffic sources and one that I continue to use today. Blog traffic will deliver targeted traffic because your content is related to the niche that you are in. Blog traffic is slow to get going but it can last for years when done right.
With all of the latest Google algorithm updates, it’s a good idea to learn SEO (search engine optimization) from professionals. Learning SEO will help you rank higher and limit the effects of those pesky algorithm updates. Picking up some SEO skills will benefit you in the long term.
Social Media Traffic
Many affiliate marketing coaches teach how to promote high ticket affiliate products using social media traffic generation because it is free to use social media and it’s faster than SEO.
Social media traffic still takes time to build up. If you are not creating valuable content, you won’t be able to grow a following or get many views.
Keep in mind that social media traffic is cold traffic so it may take more effort to get someone to take action. You’ll likely have to have DM (direct message) conversations and build trust before a cold lead buys.
Solo Ads
Using solo ads works for some and not for others. They are email advertisements sent to another person’s email list. The list owner may have a large email list in the same niche you are in. You can rent out someone’s list and they will send an email message on your behalf. Solo ads are charged per click.
Therefore, if you want 200 clicks, then you pay 200 x 0.49 cents or however much each click costs. The solo ad will run until all of your clicks are received. Solo ads work best when you send the traffic to a sales funnel and have a follow-up email sequence to send to your new subscribers.
Most subscribers do not buy right away or at all. Using solo ads can be expensive so weigh the pros and cons if you go this route.
Stick to One Traffic Source When Starting Out
When it comes to how to promote high ticket affiliate products, it can be overwhelming to do multiple traffic sources at the same time. As a beginner, I recommend choosing an organic traffic strategy and sticking with it until you are receiving a steady flow of traffic.
Whether that is using Instagram, creating a blog, or some other organic traffic source. Become proficient and once you do, move on to learning another traffic source.
